Nelson Day Surgery has over 20 years’ history delivering high quality day surgery in the Nelson Tasman region. Our team of caring health professionals provide compassionate, friendly, patient centred care to our local community.
Exciting Opportunity
Due to an upcoming retirement, we’re seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join our professional multi-disciplinary team.
You will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient financial services including the day-to-day management of payables, receivables and payroll.
This role offers variety! From preparing GST returns and patient quotes, liaising with ACC and medical insurers, to taking minutes at our directors meeting, no two days are the same! Working closely with our external accountant, you will also assist with budget preparation and reporting.
Your sound knowledge and experience with financial transactions will complement your natural ability to clearly communicate with a diverse range of people. Although this role requires a level of autonomy and initiative, you will relish working in a team environment where everyone has a passion for delivering quality care to our patients.
